The Descendants compilation debuts at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming the fourth soundtrack to hit the top spot this year (15).

The album lands the unfortunate record of becoming the lowest selling album to reach number one since Nielsen Music began compiling the chart 1991 - it hits the top with just 42,000 sales.

Future's former chart-topper, DS2, stays put at two on the new chart, Taylor Swift's 1989 jumps back into the top three at three and Ed Sheeran's X is also heading in the right direction at four.

Sam Hunt's Montevallo rounds out the new top five, while Jill Scott's Woman, which topped the countdown last week (02Aug15) slips to six.
