Different Angle is the latest singe from the band
Indie-rock band The Cribs have been delighting audiences with their unique blend of alternative, garage and punk rock for over a decade now and it seems that the original Yorkshire trio have finally been noticed by the super big guys: Kiss.
The Cribs have released their second single from their sixth album
At least that’s what they want you to think in the video for their latest release, Different Angle, which they have shot entirely on VHS as they meet and greet fans in New York and hang out with look-alikes of Kiss band members.
The Wakefield band released their sixth album, For All My Sisters, in March and this is the second single from it with a retro-style video in accompaniment.

The old school film documents the group touring the US interspersed with footage of the band at home and peppered with international fans and “Kiss” band members.
This DIY attempt provides a surprisingly intimate look into the world of the group who still haven’t forgotten their roots, having played Live at Leeds at the beginning of this month, but are also internationally recognised superstars having received an Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at the 2012 NME Awards.
