The show at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, which featured British singer Alexandra Burke in the lead role, was allegedly disrupted by a woman in the audience.

Several theatre-goers reportedly objected to her renditions of Houston's classic songs, and venue staff were called to ask the woman to leave the building so the performance could continue.

An onlooker tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "She was being told off for singing along loudly and badly. She was swearing and being quite aggressive to those who were trying to shush her."

Kate Collins, operations director of the Royal Concert Hall, confirmed the incident to the publication, saying, "A customer causing a disturbance during the final performance of The Bodyguard was asked to leave by Royal Concert Hall staff. The customer left the building soon after this request."
