Bosses Of Hit Tv Show Empire Have Asked A Judge To Rule How To Split Terrence Howard's Salary Between The Actor And His Ex-wife.
The Iron Man star has been embroiled in a bitter divorce settlement battle with his former partner Michelle Ghent since their union was dissolved in 2013 following a one-year marriage.
In March (15), a judge ruled Ghent was entitled to another year of spousal support payments plus a cut from Howard's earnings from the hip-hop TV series, but the actor filed paperwork contesting the decision, accusing Ghent of extortion.
Ghent asked bosses at Twentieth Century Fox, the studio behind Empire, to send a portion of Howard's salary directly to her, but the actor is demanding he be paid the full amount, claiming she is not entitled to the money.
Fox bosses have now asked a judge to determine how much of his wages each party should receive, according to TMZ.com.
Howard is now married to model/restaurateur Mira and they welcomed their first child together in May (15).
