So you know how Suge Knight ran over two people and now needs a really good defense? Well, according to TMZ, his line is that “he didn’t see them.” The gossip website cites the usual “sources connected to” Suge Knight,  he claims he was in fear of his life when he gunned his truck, striking and killing Terry Carter and injuring Cle "Bone" Sloan.

Police are still reviewing the evidence in Suge's case.

So is that going be the official line of defence then? Well, no. Suge’s actual story is a little more complicated than that. According to TMZ, he claims that he was beaten by 2 to 4 men, before getting in his car and driving away.

Suge was allegedly so shaken by the encounter that he floored it and didn’t see or feel that he was hitting anyone. According to TMZ’s analysis, however, even if this explanation gets him off the hook for the hit-and-run charges, there’s still the matter of the felony murder he could be charged and convicted of, if the police’s suspicions are confirmed.

The incident occurred on Thursday, January 29, when Knight allegedly hit and killed his friend Terry Carter, 55, with his pickup truck Thursday in the parking lot of a Compton fast-food restaurant, also injuring Cle "Bone" Sloan, 51. He later turned himself in and bail was set at $2 million. The incident was the latest in a long line of brushes with death and the law for the 49-year-old founder of Death Row Records, one of the genre's leading labels.
