Jamaican dance artist Stylo G has released the video to his electrifying new single 'Soundbwoy' set to release on May 12th 2013 through 3Beat Records. It will no doubt follow the success of his 2012 underground hit 'Call Mi A Yardie'.
The video features Stylo performing his infectious new song in a dance club alongside headphone-donning DJs and several clubgoers moving to the rhythm, while a speaker is set alight in the middle of the room. It's a particularly exhilarating number with a slow raga style beat and Stylo's encouraging crooning that, while sounding slightly monotonous, oozes cool with his melodious Caribbean vocal.
Stylo G has been a part of the UK underground dance scene since the release of his debut single 'My Yout' featuring MCs Sickman and Ice Kid in 2004. He has since risen to popularity with 2012's 'Call Mi A Yardie' becoming a massive underground hit and saw him sign to his current record label. He has even performed with the likes of Wretch 32 during his Olympic celebrations, which leads us to mention that he has been particularly praised by Gold medallist sprinter Usain Bolt. The upcoming 'Soundbwoy' single will feature a remix from popular producer Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor.
