Whoopi Goldberg is to draw inspiration from her three failed marriages to write a satirical self-help book.
The Ghost star has inked a deal with the Hachette Books publishing house to share her views on the downsides of marriage and give advice on why relationships fail.
She says in a statement, "It occurred to me that as one who has done it badly often, I might have some insight into why a person might not put her best foot forward in a relationship. I've realised there are certain things you have to come to terms with in life, like managing your own expectations, telling the truth, reconciling true love with other aspects of your life, including wealth or even celebrity. It's hard to really know the other person's agenda, but if someone says 'you complete me'... Run!!!"
The book is slated for release in September, 2015.
