French actor Gerard Depardieu was reportedly given a warning by police after allegedly throwing water on the owner and patrons of a restaurant near his home in southern Italy.
The Green Card is said to have argued with a restaurant owner in the town of Leece, where he owns a home, over noise coming from the eaterie.
According to Italy's Ansa news agency, the 65 year old allegedly threw water on the restaurateur and a number of guests, prompting a call to police.
Officers reportedly issued Depardieu with a warning, and urged him not to confront the owner again.
