Fact: English filmmaker Stephen Frears will receive a lifetime achievement honour at the Stockholm International Film Festival in Sweden later this year (15). The Queen director will be feted with the prestigious Bronze Horse before the premiere of his Lance Armstrong biopic, The Program, in November (15). Previous recipients of the accolade include Quentin Tarantino, David Cronenberg, David Lynch and Oliver Stone.
