Stephen Collins, the 7th Heaven actor currently embroiled in child molestations allegations, has been cut from a forthcoming episode of ABC's 'Scandal'. In a recent report on TMZ.com, Collins is alleged to have confessed to have inappropriately touched young girls several decades ago.

"We can confirm that we will not be airing any footage with Stephen Collins," ABC said regarding the scenes that Collins shot for an upcoming episode in season four.

Collins had previously tweeted his excitement at appearing on the hit drama, with Kerry Washington.

"Happy to say I did another episode of 'Scandal'. Had a great time. Wish I could say more but Shonda Rhimes would have to kill me," he wrote.

Collins, who allegedly confessed to child molestation in an audiotape posted on TMZ.com, has already been fired from Seth MacFarlane's comedy sequel Ted 2 after filming a handful of scenes. 

Rumors late on Tuesday suggested the actor had shot himself though a Los Angeles Police spokesman confirmed Collins is alive and well. Speculation began after actress Donna D'Errico told her 53,000 Twitter followers, "That guy from 7th Heaven lives right around the corner from me & just shot himself a few minutes ago."

She promptly deleted the tweet, adding, "I just tweeted out what I was being told by my neighbor(s) who were on scene. I apologize for tweeting what I'd heard."

A reporter camped outside the actor's house is said to have heard a loud noise and called the police, believing it was a gunshot, said the spokeswoman. 

Collins starred on 7th Heaven for 11 years, and most recently had a recurring role in the TV series Revolution
