Career: Stacy Valentine adopted her moniker after shooting her first adult movie on Valentine's Day in 1996. Stacy Valentine's first adult media venture was posing for Gallery magazine's 'Girl Next Door' amateur photo contest which she won and later did a spread for Hustler magazine. During the Hustler shoot, she did a layout for their offshoot publication Rage.
Stacy's decision to become a full time adult actress followed her appearance in Coast-to-Coast's hardcore movie, Bikini Beach 4. She retired from the industry following her final film in 2000. Among the awards Valentine won in adult entertainment were The 1997 XRCO Award for Best New Starlet, the 1998 Hot D'Or Award for Best American Starlet and the 1999 XRCO Award for Female Performer of the Year.
She's also been inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame and the AVN Hall Of Fame. Valentine became the subject for Christine Fugate's 1999 documentary, 'The Girl Next Door'.
As of 2010, Valentine lives in California as a director and model recruiter for Penthouse magazine.
Personal life: Stacy Valentine got married at a very young age but left her husband soon after starting her adult film career in order to pursue it further.
