Stacey Dash, still struggling to make herself aside from a film made over 17 years ago, has possibly landed her most high profile news story in ages after facing criticism for coming out in support of Mitt Romney. Dash, who if you remember back as far as 1995 was co-star in the hit film Clueless opposite Alicia Silverstone, took to Twitter to post a picture of herself in a red swimsuit in front of the American flag. Patting what looks like a rocket inscribed with the words "Dash For America", she added the caption "Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future."

According to The Hollywood Gossip though, this simple admission of who she was rooting wasn't taken well by a certain section of Twitter users. "You're an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You're voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot" admonished one. Another joked "Stacey Dash had a perm since birth. I knew I couldn't trust her.. lol." There were more serious threats, whilst one person even claimed her vote would be cast for "white supremacy" if she voted Romney.

Fair play to Dash for responding calmly; she simple replied "My humble opinion. EVERYONE is entitled to one." Now, if only someone was about to make a movie for her about this.
