Fact: British actor Sir David Jason has reprised his most famous role - as market trader Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter in hit sitcom Only Fools and Horses - to promote a phone-in competition on U.K. Tv show This Morning. Jason, who has not played the character since the comedy ended in 2003, employed Trotter's famous catchphrases as he told viewers, "This time next week you could be a quarter of a millionaire. You know it makes sense."

Fact: Beloved British actor Sir David Jason has signed a deal to publish his autobiography. The Only Fools and Horses star's book will be released in 2014.

Fact: Simon Cowell's hit British series The X Factor was named Best Talent Show at the National Television Awards in London on Wednesday night (26Jan11). Other winners at the ceremony included veteran actor David Jason, who took the Best Drama Performance honour for his role in A TOUCH OF FROST, while veteran entertainer Bruce Forsyth was handed the Special Recognition Award.

Fact: A statue of late British comedian RONNIE BARKER was unveiled in Aylesbury, England on Thursday (30Sep10). The life-sized bronze tribute was placed in the town where the funnyman played his first show more than 60 years ago and was revealed in front of his widow Joy, as well as his long term collaborator RONNIE CORBETT and OPEN ALL HOURS co-star Sir David Jason.
