Sia has been sober for five years.
The 'Chandelier' hitmaker, who has battled drug and alcohol addiction in the past, took to her Twitter account on Thursday (10.09.15) to reveal she has reached half a decade of sobriety and to encourage any fans struggling to stay on the straight and narrow to ''keep at it''.
She wrote: ''5 years sober today. If you're newly sober, keep at it, it gets so so awesome. YOU CAN DO IT (sic).''
The famously shy star has been candid about her issues in the past, even admitting she came close to taking her own life in 2010 due to the pressures of fame.
Speaking to ABC's Chris Connelly previously about the time she hit ''rock bottom'', she said: ''I was extremely depressed at the time, that was one of my lowest points. I don't think I ever would have stopped drinking had I not got hooked on Xanax and OxyContin. I don't think I was taking them for more than maybe 10 months before I hit rock bottom.''
The 39-year-old musician later revealed to Australia's OK! magazine that a friend, who was also trying to follow a sobriety programme, had saved her life by encouraging her fight her demons.
Sia - whose full name is Sia Furler - explained: ''There was a small voice [in me] that wanted to live and the only thing I knew how to do was to call someone who was also in the programme, and then I just did what I was told and I'm still sober now, so I am really grateful.''
