Sharon Osbourne made another live gaffe on ‘The X Factor’ this weekend, appearing to forget her own lines as she prepared to announce which act she was sending home.

On Sunday night’s episode (November 27th), Sharon was seen holding up a cue card to the camera that had presumably been placed on her desk, out of shot, containing the words she was being instructed to say.

“The name of the act I am sending home is,” the sheet of paper read, with the last two words underlined to remind the judge to emphasise them.

It’s not the first time this series, or even last weekend, that the 64 year old mother-of-three has made an on-camera fluff. The previous night, she appeared to forget the name of the act she was introducing, forcing Nicole Scherzinger to intervene on her behalf to do so.

A few weeks ago, Osbourne also seemed to forget the name of her own act and spent more than a minute addressing the wrong camera. This caused even the host Dermot O’Leary to comment, remarking “we all want what Sharon’s having”.

It comes as the controversial rapper Honey G, whom many have decried as a novelty act and who was mentored by Osbourne herself, became the latest contestant to be sent home after losing a tense sing-off with rival act 5 After Midnight.

Despite Osbourne pleading with the rest of the panel to reconsider voting the rapper off, head judge Simon Cowell said while casting the deciding vote: “I have to do what I think the public would expect me to do in this position, and I also think one of the acts has gone as far as they can go now.”

Real name Anna Gilford, the disappointed hip-hop wannabe said: “I’d really, really like to get a record deal with Simon Cowell, I have my heart set on that. I know I can sell records and I’ve got the potential to go far as a rap artist. Simon's standing right there.”
