Sharon Osbourne has urged troubled actress Lindsay Lohan to hold her head up and take her upcoming jail stint seriously - and reap the benefits of a comeback upon her release.
The rock matriarch and reality TV icon feels sure the Mean Girls star will be an in demand celebrity after serving 90 days behind bars for violating her probation on a 2007 DUI charge.
And Osbourne, who watched her children and husband Ozzy prosper after surviving drug and alcohol-fuelled lows, believes the jail spell, which will start next week (20Jul10), could be the best thing that has happened to Lohan's flagging career.
She says, "I would just tell her, 'The judge has made her decision; take your time, don't waste the time, just learn, sit there and think and learn - and it will fly by...' She needs to be good to herself.
"Before you know it, she'll be out, she'll have her own reality show, her own TV talk show... I haven't known one person that hasn't gone in jail and come out without having their own show."
