Is she upset over a teddy bear?
Selena Gomez is finding life in the spotlight increasingly difficult these days and, despite recently being named the most-followed person on Instagram once again, she has decided to make her account private as she deals with the pressures of fame. What has caused her most recent stress is unconfirmed, but there are clues.

Last week, the 25-year-old was named the most-followed person on Instagram for the second consecutive year with a massive 130 million followers. She was also named Billboard's Woman of the Year, but since then something has happened to deeply upset her.
Fans are speculating that a now deleted post holds the key to why she has gone private. In screenshots from her account, we see a passage of text from a Billboard feature on her, overlaid with apparently offended Selena's comment on the story.
'There's a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez's North Hollywood home. 'I know, I know,' says Gomez, rolling her eyes', the article said. ''It was a gift, and at first I thought, 'This is so ridiculous, I can't wait until I give it away to another person'. But Gomez, 25, hasn't let go of it - yet.'
Selena's now deleted response was thus: 'Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them in my home. That is so hurtful. The most 'ridiculous' part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things.'
It's not clear exactly why that part of the article offended her, but fans can only speculate that the teddy was a gift from someone close to her - perhaps Courtney Barry - who read the article and was insulted by the idea that Selena would want to give it away.

It seems to be a logical explanation, especially given that she seemed so happy with Billboard previously. 'Thank you beyond for your acknowledgment and honor Billboard but honestly thank you more for the event you held for women', she said on Instagram. 'That night was so inspiring and every woman spoke eloquently and with such force. I'll try to continue to give my best to even remotely live up to a title. In the mean time I hope we all continue to give our best when the world wants to give us the worst. We aren't stopping the fight.'
