P Diddy has sent a reassuring message to his fans, following Wednesday’s car crash (October 24, 2012) in Beverly Hills.

A spokesperson for Diddy issued a statement to MTV News, confirming that he’s receiving treatment, following the accident, in which a Lexus turned in front of the hip-hop star’s Cadillac Escalade.

The statement read “Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in yesterday's car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone. He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident.” When news of the crash broke, TMZ published some snaps of the star lying on the grass verge near to where the accident had happened, looking thoroughly shaken by what had happened.

When police arrived at the scene, the man we used to call Puff Daddy was complaining of pain but it was unclear exactly how bad it was. Russell Simmons, the head of the Def Jam record label, was one of the first to Tweet his feelings about the collision, saying “Glad to hear my man Puff is ok...” Hopefully, P Diddy will be able to get back to business pretty soon; he’s been busy over the last few weeks, promoting the new signing to his label Bad Boy Records. Machine Gun Kelly just released his debut album Lace Up last week and Diddy’s keen to get the word out of his new talent.
