Former couple Jennifer Lopez and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs have been engaging in a bit of mutual admiration as of late, after the rapper branded his ex girlfriend’s booty "a work of art".

After being shown the video for J’Lo’s latest single ‘Booty’ by Access Hollywood Diddy gushed, "Oh my God! Oh my God, I am so lucky to have that great woman in my history. She is one of the greatest I've ever seen.” The rapper then called Lopez’s famous posterior a “work of art”, saying “It's something that will go down in history.”

Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock has just recently discovered how far some fans will go to come into contact with their idols as a man broke into her Beverly Hills home in the early hours on Tuesday. Since being arrested, the man who has been identified as Joshua Corbett who is aged 39 and resides in the San Fernando valley, Los Angeles.

It also presents a worrying security concern as a lapse in mental health often fuels these celebrity obsessions. Most famously, John Hinckley Jr’s assassination attempt on then President, Ronald Raegan, was seen by Hinckley as a way of courting the attention of actress Jodie Foster. But to have a fan invade one’s personal space and most intimate of dwellings is a unsettling notion for most people, never mind those of the celebrity calibre. Sean Combs has had a lot of name changes in his career, but now he's back to the name we all first knew him by, Puff Daddy. He might have come full circle but inbetween we had P.Diddy, Diddy and even Swag (what?). So incase you're wondering, here's a full timeline of the many names of Sean Combs, the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy who was P.Diddy or Diddy but is now Puff Daddy again.

The man now known (again) as Puff Daddy came into the world on November 4th 1969 and was then given his first name, the very normal, Sean John Combs. It was as a child that he was first given the ‘Puffy’ nickname as he used to ‘huff and puff’ when he got mad. He told Jett magazine back in 1998 that growing up he ‘had a temper. That's why my friend started calling me Puffy.’ The nickname stuck and in 1993 he founded ‘Bad Boy Records’ and signed rapper Craig Mack, who’s single 'Flava In Ya Ear’ became the label’s first release. The label’s main star soon became the Notorious B.I.G. after the release of his 1994 ‘Ready to Die’ album. Combs is credited on the record as a producer under the name Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs.

Rapper Puff Daddy has announced he is releasing a new album and yes we did get his name right, as he also reverted back to his old moniker. The new album enitited ‘MMM’ will be his first release in four years, since 2010’s ‘Last Train To Paris’.

While a new record from the former Diddy is big news, a lot of the attention is falling on his name change back to Puff Daddy. On Monday he revealed the change by unveiling a teaser video for his upcoming single ‘Big Homie’. Which had the Puff Daddy name in the opening credits. He later tweeted ‘For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! :) Be cool Man lol #MMM #BigHomie RT!!!!.’ This came from his account which is called '@iamdiddy', where he uses the name ‘Diddy’, confused? He later added to confusion tweeting ‘#DIDDYORDADDY ???’. Yes that is the question.

Kesha has dropped the $ from her name, apparently in a bid to start afresh since leaving rehab. Kesha had checked into the Timberline Knolls Treatment Center to receive treatment for eating disorders and has announced to her fans on Twitter that she is “Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music”.

P. Diddy has been silent in the way of new music for a few years, which in today’s climate translates as about a century. However the rapper/producer/entrepreneur is coming back with a new venture – a brand new music channel, Revolt, targeting that oh-so-precious 13-33 demo, also referred to as the rather strained and unpleasant term Millennials.

The rapper is convinced he can fill the vacuum, left by MTV.

When Kendrick Lamar spat fire on his guest spot for the Big Sean track 'Control,' his challenge to today's hip-hop heavy-weights to up their game and try and keep up with him was taken the wrong way by a chunk of the rap community, including a number of those he called out on the track. Speaking for the first time about the controversy surrounding his verse, the Compton rapper has reiterated that he meant no disrespect to anyone, noting that he may have to tone down his complex lyrics in future.

The Top Dawg Entertainment star was speaking with radio DJ Peter Rosenberg on his Hot 97 radio show on Thursday (29 August) morning to address the unwarranted controversy surrounding the song, saying that his lyrics had been taken out of context by those who took offence. He commented, "It made me go back here and made me feel that I probably need to dumb down my lyrics nowadays, for people to take it way out of context the way they did."

With an acronym that stands for 'October's Very Own' (October referring to Drake's birth month), OVO Festival is an event that has seen success in recent years and looks to get even bigger still. It's a question that's been on our minds all week. Is Kate Upton dating Dancing with the Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy? The duo were apparently spotted enjoying each other's company at Scalinatella in New York City this week, though management at the Upper East Side eatery debunked reports of a relationship and told E! news that their dinner "did not look intimate at all."

Meanwhile, a source told E! News that the two "are just good friends" while a second source close to Maksim said they've "heard nothing about them dating." Anyhow, the restaurant in New York couldn't even confirm that it was the dancer with the buxom Vogue cover model though did note that the two dinner guests appeared "just friends."

Upton - now one of the world's most popular models - has remained mum on her dating life in recent years, though vehemently denied she was dating Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander during a Fox News interview back in February. Past reports have linked Kate to Sean 'P Diddy' Combs, Kanye West, football ace Mark Sanchez and even Never Back Down actor Sean Faris.

It's good to have friends in high places, and for French Montana this was the case when it came to securing the guest spots on his upcoming debut album Excuse My French, with the rapper revealing that all but one person was willing to feature on the album for nothing. Rapper Max B, who is currently serving a prison sentence, was the only one who deemed his services to be worth paying for, with the long list of other famous rap names showing up as a favour to the Bronx rapper.

French, who has Moroccan ancestry, was speaking on MTV's RapFix Live when he gave wind of the generosity of his album features, saying that only one of the twenty three guest vocals sent him a bill for their services. His long-time friend Max B, who is currently serving a 75-year sentence in prison, was the only one to ask to be paid for his appearance on the opening track on the album, with French telling RapFix, "The only person I paid was Max B. That's about it."
