Rapper Scarface's Reunion With Veteran Hip-hop Group Geto Boys Is Over Just Months After He And His Bandmates Failed To Reach A Crowdsourcing Target To Raise Cash For The Recording Of An Eighth Album.
The rap veteran reunited with Willie D and Bushwick Bill for the first time in several years for a month-long tour in June (15), but the trek was cut short after Scarface came down with pneumonia and was hospitalised.
And there was more bad news as he was recovering when the group's crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.com for the funding of Habeas Corpus failed to reach its goal.
Now, the 44 year old insists it's time to move on from the Geto Boys.
He says, "That's over. That's a page in history that is closed for me. I'm done. That's never going to happen again."
