Sarah Jessica Parker is spending Valentine's Day with her babysitter.

The former 'Sex and the City' star, who has been married for 18 years, admits she isn't doing anything romantic to celebrate the occasion with husband Matthew Broderick today (14.02.15) because he is working.

Asked if she has any special plans, the 49-year-old actress, who has son James Wilkie, 11, and five-year-old twins daughters, Tabitha and Marion, with the actor, told E! News: ''Well I'm actually going to be with my children because my husband's working, so I'm going to be with my children, but I think that's kind of nice. And actually I'll be with our babysitter too. I keep making fun of her, I'm like, 'We're spending Valentine's Day together Anna,' and she's like, 'Yeah, great.' ''

Matthew, 52, is currently starring in the Broadway comedy, 'It's Only A Play,' alongside Martin Short in the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York City, and has two performances scheduled for today.

The actor recently revealed that his long-lasting marriage to Sarah is based on ''talking a lot''.

He said: ''We really are friends beyond everything else and we talk a lot.

''Keep talking I guess, I know how cliché that is. Too much silence is definitely not a good idea.''
