The former 'Roseanne' actress let her fellow 'The Talk' co-hosts announce that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Saturday (Feb 28th).
Sara Gilbert is a mother once again! This past Saturday (Feb 28th), the former 'Roseanne' actress and current 'The Talk' host and her wife Linda Perry welcomed their first child together, a baby boy called Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry.
Sara and Linda are now parents to a healthy baby boy
Gilbert announced the news with her fellow 'The Talk' co-hosts by sharing the very first photo of the couple's newborn son on Monday's episode, while she was obviously absent. "Our very own Sara and her wife Linda Perry are the proud parents of a new baby boy," Julie Chen told the audience.
"Both mother and child are doing well," the proud parents' rep also told Us Weekly on the same day. "The ladies send their congratulations."
Gilbert surprised 'The Talk' viewers when announcing her pregnancy news during an addition of 'Facing Your Fears' back in September. The 40-year-old actress had to tell the audience why was unable to attempt her dare of lying on a bed of nails, as well as having a cinder block broken over her stomach.
While getting emotional, Gilbert told the rest of the show's panel, "Before we go I just want to say I'm actually not going to do the dare. I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant."
Although this is the first child for the happy couple, who tied the knot back in March, Gilbert is already a mother to two children, son Levi, 9, and daughter Sawyer, 7, with her ex-partner Allison Adler.
