Sami Gayle (Blue Bloods) takes part in a press junket to promote her new movie "Detachment" at the Regency Hotel in New York. Sami reveals that she couldn't do a lot of research for her role as Erica - a homeless runaway - but she made up for it by watching films such as Pretty Woman and Taxi Driver.She also talked about the bond that forms between her character and co-star Adrien Brody's character; and said that she learned more from the actor in four weeks, than she would have done in four years at performing arts school Julliard.
Sami will be starring in the upcoming thriller Stolen (2012) with Nicolas Cage and the 2013 sci-fi The Congress, with Robin Wright.
