Sam Smith admitted he had a dream about tuna melts and still loves food despite having to cut back to keep off his 50lb weight loss.
Sam Smith dreamt of eating tuna melts.
The 'Stay With Me' hitmaker has addressed his 50-pound weight loss and shared how he went to bed on Monday night (07.09.15) and woke up from a dream about toasted cheese and fish sandwiches and also admitted he still loves food despite having to ''completely'' change his diet.
He said: ''I went to bed last night dreaming of tuna melts. I love food. My relationship with food has just completely changed. ''During the process of this album [In the Lonely Hour], I just was getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
''When someone calls you gay, there's not much you can do about that because I am. Whereas, if someone calls you fat, there is something you can do about that.''
Elsewhere, the 23-year-old singer shared how hard it has been since having vocal surgery and how he has to take longer ''resting breaks'' after each show, but ultimately has to make the compromise of not making high-pitched songs to keep his vocal chords in check.
He told NBC News: ''It's been a struggle to get through. I've got to plan longer resting breaks in between shows. I just need to stop writing songs that are too high to sing.''
