Rumer Willis is a ''completely different person'' since competing on 'Dancing With the Stars'.

The 'House Bunny' actress recently got a tattoo as a permanent reminder of her time on the contest - which she and professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy won - because the experience has made her much more confident and driven.

Explaining why she got the inking, which is based on a sketch of one of her performances on the show, she said: ''I got it because I really wanted to just have a reminder of the journey I went through. I don't think I've ever put so much - physically, mentally, emotionally - into anything, or wanted something so badly.

''I feel like the journey that I won has helped me grow so much into such a completely different person, and I have such a different type of confidence in myself now.

''The only place you can really find the confidence and the love for yourself is within you, so that has to be what carries you: not all of these external things.''

And while her time on the show has come to an end, the 26-year-old star - who is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore - has no plans to give up her dancing shoes as she has been incorporating her moves into her workouts.

She told People magazine: ''I called Val [Chmerkovskiy], I was like, 'I want to keep dancing! Let's go!' '' she says. ''I just found such a love for dancing. If anybody would love to just feel great, not just physically but you want to feel such confidence, just go and take ballroom dancing class! I love it more than any kind of workout.''
