It’s an unlikely pairing, but comedian Tina Fey and former UFC champ Ronda Rousey are set to team up together on the big screen for a new comedy. Titled Do Nothing Bitches, the script will be written by Paula Pell, who also penned Sisters, and is based on an interview Rousey gave last year about female self-worth.

Ronda RouseyRonda Rousey is set to star opposite Tina Fey in Do Nothing Bitches.

According to Deadline, the film is ‘a female-empowerment tale dealing with wealthy pampered wives who get a rude awakening at a camp where Rousey plays the no-nonsense instructor.’ The idea came from an interview Rousey gave in the summer that has so far generated more than 3 million hits on YouTube.

In the interview Rousey said that her mother raised her not to be a ‘do nothing bitch’, i.e. a woman who ‘just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by somebody else.’ The line has since become something of a slogan for Rousey and her supporters and she’s sold 57,000 T-shirts containing the phrase.

Along with starring opposite Rousey, Tina Fey will also produce the film via her Little Stranger Productions banner along with Pell. Little Stranger’s Eric Gurian will serve as executive producer, while EVP Production's Erik Baiers will oversee for studio Universal.

As Rousey continues to focus on her acting career she’s also lined-up as the host of next week’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ on January 23rd. Posting a photo of her name in the ‘SNL’ hosting line-up Rousey wrote: 'Beyond excited/nervous/honored to host @nbcsnl #jan23rd hopefully you'll be watching and laughing either at or with me that night.’
