Rock Legends The Rolling Stones Have Dismissed Speculation They Are Set To Split At The End Of Their 2015 Tour.
The veteran rockers have been playing shows all over America and Canada this year (15) on their Zip Code Tour, and they have also launched a special exhibition in London commemorating their lengthy career.
Fans have become concerned that the retrospective show at London's Saatchi Gallery, which opens next year (16), has been put together to precede a split announcement from the band, but the stars have now spoken out to allay their fears.
In a video shown at the launch of the exhibition in the British capital on Thursday night (02Jul15), guitarist Keith Richards declared, "People have said we're splitting up since every tour from about 1975. If anybody should be interested in when we're going to quit, it should be the Stones, and they're not particularly interested in doing so."
Ronnie Wood added, "The exhibition is an insight into an ongoing machine and institution that will never stop rumbling. We didn't get into this exhibition with the thought of retiring. It's just another input into the travelling circus."
