Michael Hutson Lutz is accused of ploughing his car into a mailbox outside the singer's luxury house in Palm Beach, Florida last week (ends08Nov15).

The 37 year old reportedly crashed into Stewart's property as he attempted to pull over his car for a police traffic stop, and he was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

He was later charged with one count of driving under the influence (DUI) with property damage (sic).

Lutz is believed to have caused around $500 (£313) worth of damage to Stewart's mailbox in the incident on Tuesday (03Nov15).
