Robin Thicke Stunned Students In New York On Wednesday (26aug15) When He Performed For Them And Then Donated His Piano To Their School.
The Blurred Lines singer stepped out onstage unannounced at East Quogue Elementary School of Long Island and performed a short hits set before taking questions from members of his amazed audience.
He then had another big surprise when he donated a Yamaha piano, valued at $10,000 (GBP6,250), to the school.
Thicke made the gift as an ambassador for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
He says, "I can’t imagine what my life would’ve looked like without music, so it’s important for me to pay it forward by supporting ways to keep music in schools."
