Actor Robert Redford's nephew, JONATHAN REDFORD, has taken his own place in the spotlight - as one of the hosts of a new US TV music show.

Jonathan will be one of four presenters for CD USA, a spin-off of popular British weekly pop show CD:UK.

The show began taping this week, coinciding with the start of his uncle Robert's famous Sundance Film Festival, but Jonathan doesn't seem to mind missing out on the festivities.

He says, "I love live music, so listening and interacting with the bands on CD USA is going to be fantastic."

CD USA premieres on US cable network Direct on 21 January (06) and features performances from Ashlee Simpson, GOO DOLLS and actor Balthazar Getty's band RINGSIDE.
