Robert Pattinson plays Tyler a young and rebellious New Yorker who's relationship with his powerful business man father (Pierce Brosnan) is in tatters ever since a tragic event fractured their family.
Tyler thought nobody could ever understand the things he is going through until an unusual twist of fate leads to him meeting Ally (Emilie De Ravin). Tyler starts falling for Ally as he discovers her spirit both inspires him and helps to heal his ills.
The love that Tyler and Ally share brings Tyler much happiness and redefines his life with wholesome meaning until veiled secrets surface and this along with the very circumstances that brought them together conspire to tear them apart.
