Robbie Williams has joked he loves musical theatre so much, he feels ''49 per cent homosexual''.
Robbie Williams claims he's ''49 per cent homosexual''.
The 39-year-old singer wants to branch out into musical theatre and admits he identifies with gay men because of his flair for all things dramatic.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: ''I would really like to have a crack at it. I love musical theatre and a lot of the other things that are often associated with gays.
''I am 49 per cent homosexual and sometimes as far as 50 per cent. However, that would imply that I enjoy having a particular sort of fun, which I don't.''
The Take That star - who has 14-month-old daughter Theodora, known as 'Teddy', with his wife Ayda Field - is keen to take on a starring role in a stage production about his life, and would love some big Hollywood names to get involved.
Robbie joked: ''I don't know who they could get to play me in the musical, so it would have to be me. If anyone has ideas I am up for writing new songs. But when I say anyone, I actually mean directors of massive films.''
The 'Candy' hitmaker will be getting a makeover before he takes to the stage, however, since he is fed up with his ''turdy'' looking grey dye job.
He quipped: ''My wife said it would look good on me but now it's gone from being grey, striking, interesting and windswept to a little bit turdy.''
