Russell Crowe and comedienne Kristen Wiig have signed up as guest speakers to fete Scott when he unveils the 2,564th star on the Walk of Fame next month (05Nov15).

Announcing the news of the latest inductee, Hollywood Chamber President and CEO Leron Gubler says, "We are proud to dedicate a star to one of Hollywood's most prolific directors who is responsible for so many of Hollywood's iconic films. Ridley Scott's work will long be a part of our film history."

Scott is enjoying critical acclaim following the release of his latest film The Martian, which many critics believe is his best movie since 2000's Gladiator, which went on to win a Best Picture Oscar.
