Embattled Rapper Rick Ross Is Now Free To Leave Atlanta, Georgia After A Judge Lifted The Travel Restrictions Related To His Arrest In June (15).
The Hustlin' hitmaker and associate Nadrian L. James were taken into custody in Fayette County following an alleged fight with a groundskeeper at his property.
Ross was subsequently charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault charges, and was later released on a $2 million (£1.2 million) bail but he was ordered to wear a 24-hour GPS tracker device so local law enforcement officials could monitor his whereabouts at all times.
The Maybach Music Group boss was back in court on Thursday (13Aug15), when he received good news from the judge, who gave him approval to leave Atlanta, but only for business trips.
According to TMZ.com, Ross was told he had to give the local District Attorney five days notice of any travel plans, as well as itinerary details. In addition, the hop-hop star has a two-hour grace period between the time he arrives in Atlanta and when he enters his home.
