Reuben Very Fast Very Dangerous Album

Here's a band who wear their influences on their sleeve. Much of this album sounds like a sequel to Nirvana's Bleach – check out the first single, Keep it To Yourself as a prime example. The dirty, mashed up guitar sound so reminiscent of nineties grunge is the thread that links all the diverse songs on this album together. There are some lovely, haunting vocal moments on here, and some heavy bass lines that are designed to get you swinging your hair about metal-style. Filling the gap left by the long-silent Bush, this will content those longing for the halcyon days of Kurt, Eddie and Chris Cornell.
