The actress has sent tongues wagging after stepping out in L.A. looking barely recognisable.
We expected Renee Zellweger to have changed quite a bit since we first fell in love with her as Bridget Jones 13 years ago. But the Renee Zellweger who attended the Elle Women In Hollywood Awards yesterday (October 20th), was barely recognisable as the Oscar winning actress.
Renee Zellweger looks pretty different these days
The usually low profile actress attended the event with her boyfriend, musician Doyle Bramhall II at the Four Seasons Hotel in California.

The actress has previously had to deny rumours of cosmetic surgery in the past, but her latest appearance has only further fuelled the rumours. The Daily Mail describes the actress as now sporting a “super line-free forehead, altered brow and suspiciously puffy face”, while other papers have called in the experts to discuss what procedures Renee might have undergone.
Last year the 45 year old, who gained weight to portray Bridget Jones twice on screen, spoke to the Daily Express about rumours regarding her appearance. “When you read reports that you are starving yourself or that you are anorexic it’s very unfair and disappointing. It’s not very pleasant to read reports which say you’ve gone too far or this or that,” she said.

Renee had taken a step back from Hollywood in recent years, however that all looks set to change very soon. The actress has just landed a new role as the lead in the forthcoming big screen version of the best-seller, Same Kind Of Different As Me. She will also soon be seen opposite Keanu Reeves in The Whole Truth, due for release next year.
