Following the recent death of Dick Clark, host of America's longest running variety show "American Bandstand", Regis Philbin and Barry Glazer (director of productions on shows such as the "American Awards" and "Golden Globes") discussed their fond thoughts on the late TV personality as they left Sur in West Hollywood.

Barry tells of how he was told by the network "not to film ethnics dancing with each other". On mentioning this to Dick, his response was to tell Barry to film everyone who was dancing; their fashion, their faces and their hair. Regis Philbin also denied the suggestion that he was retired, asserting instead that he was "moving on". He states that he is currently filming "Hot in Cleveland" alongside Betty White
