The Aussi star isn't planning on losing weight anytime soon because being bigger is apparently an advantage for her movie career.
Rebel Wilson isn't shying away from the fact that she isn't as thin as many of her fellow Hollywood actresses, but the popular Australian star isn't planning on dieting anytime soon either, and this is because her larger figure is apparently "better in comedy."
Rebel Wilson says being fat helps her movie career
During a new interview with Australia's Daily Life, Wilson, who will reprise her role as 'Fat Amy' in the musical comedy 'Pitch Perfect 2,' opened up about being comfortable with the way she looks and her blossoming movie career.
"I took something that was seen as a disadvantage--no one thinks, if you're fat, that you're going to be an actress and everyone's going to love you--and turned it into a positive," the-28-year-old star told the magazine.

"Bigger girls do better in comedy," she continued. "I don't know why. Maybe because people find it easier to laugh. It's very hard to laugh at someone who's very attractive, I think. And normally those people don't have a great personality anyway."
As well as being one of the funniest females in the movie business, Wilson's popularity is also down to her wicked self-deprecating sense of humour, which she put on full display while talking with the magazine. "One time I got X-rayed by a chiropractor and he goes, 'You know, you don't actually have a big build,'" she said while laughing. "It's like, 'You're just fat!'"

During her rise to stardom, Rebel has definitely established herself as a comedic actress. She first burst onto Hollywood with a guest appearance in 2011's critically acclaimed 'Bridesmaids,' in which she starred alongside the likes of Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and many more.
"The odds of an Australian girl making it in Hollywood is, like, one in 25 million," Wilson said. "I'm lucky... But I also think I worked hard. I deserve it."
