Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell has revealed one of the group's sound technicians got so drunk he fell from their tour bus while it was travelling at 70mph.
Razorlight almost missed a show after their roadie fell from their tour bus on the motorway.
The British band were heading for V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex, where they performed on Saturday (22.08.09), when the accident happened.
Lead singer Johnny Borrell told Absolute Radio: "I didn't personally have a drama at the festival, but as a whole Razorlight had a big drama. One of our roadies got dead drunk, and sort of fell out the door of the bus when it was moving along at 70mph.
"I think it happened because when he got on the bus it wasn't moving and he was already drunk. The vehicle started going and a bit later he thought, 'OK, I'll get up and go and take a p**s around the corner,' not realising it was on the road."
The man, known only as Frank, was rushed to hospital, where he is said to be recovering well.
Johnny was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident but added those who were had to watch Frank be rolled off the road to avoid oncoming traffic.
