THE Ramones drummer Marky Ramone is taking legal action in a bid to secure his share of the band's royalties.
The punk legend - real name Marc Bell - claims he signed a deal in 2005 that entitles him to regular payments, but alleges he has not received any fees since 2008.
He's suing the executives responsible for distributing the royalties, accusing them of snubbing the contract, according to the lawsuit he filed on Tuesday (22Jun10) in New York Supreme Court.
The rocker is demanding the $175,000 (£117,000) he claims he's owed, as well as $1 million (£667,000) in punitive damages, reports TMZ.com.
