Ramones star Marky Ramone is keen to turn his latest comic book project into a gritty new Tv series.

The drummer has been animated alongside GoodFellas and The Sopranos star Frank Vincent and actress Brea Grant in Alan Robert’s Killogy mini-series, which launched in October (12), and Ramone is very interested in taking it to the screen.

He tells Wenn, "I acted in Rock & Roll High School and I'm getting acting roles but they're a little strange. I'd like to do a drama. I have my own comic book out and it would be great to do a Tv series on that with Frank Vincent.

"We're zombie killers but it's a little different, earthy and New York-based."
