Rachel Bilson Pregnant With Hayden Christensen's Child?

Rachel Bilson is pregnant it was revealed yesterday by various source speaking to a US entertainment website. Multiple sources close to the couple have reportedly confirmed Bilson is expecting boyfriend Hayden Christensen's child.

Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson have been together since 2007.

US Weekly first reported the news and the sources they spoke to said Bilson and Christenson "will make wonderful, hands-on parents." Apparently the pregnancy is not unexpected as the couple have discussed the possibility of starting a family. Sources spoke of this, stating "They've both talked about this for a while and are so excited," adding "Everyone is beyond thrilled for them."

The couple have been together since 2007 after they starred in the film Jumper together. Although the past three years have been relatively easy going for the couple, they did break up in 2010. Haydensen proposed to Bilson in December 2008 and she expected his offer. They broke their engagement in August 2010 but were back together less than three months later!

32-year-old Bilson has been looking forward to motherhood and has spoken to numerous media outlets about her desire to start a family. Speaking in an interview with Cosmopolitan last year Bilson said "I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future - I hope." In the same interview, Bilson explained how, now in her 30s, she wants a different pace of life. The O.C. actress said, "Thirty is a whole different thing; you can slow down and focus on family." This would certainly explain why the couple prefer to stay in rather than enjoy the night time activities of their native Hollywood. Bilson explained how the couple "make dinner at home a lot and watch movies."

In a more recent interview, Bilson has also mentioned the prospect of motherhood. Speaking to Women's Health, Bilson referred to her continued desire to have children, stating: "To start a family would be good, any year in the next few years. I've always wanted to be a mom. I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house."
