Pop superstar Prince is planning another big city residency after taking over London, New York and Los Angeles in 2007 and 2011, respectively - and this time he has set his sights on Chicago, Illinois.
The shows at the Union Center, which will begin on 24 September (12), will be the Purple Rain hitmaker's first concerts in the city for eight years.
At press time, it was not clear how many concerts Prince will perform - or whether there will be special guests.
Prince is using his Welcome 2 Chicago residency to support Rebuild the Dream, an organisation seeking to help fix the U.S. economy.
