All Eyes is the new single from Post War Years and is due to be released on December 5th through Labour of Love. Their as yet untitled second album is due for release in 2012. The Leamington Spa four piece will be headlining a three date tour in December 2011.
Post War Years formed in 2008 with the members Simon (vocals); Tom (vocals); Fred (general percussion) and Henry (vocals). They were signed by Rough Trade in 2009, who released their debut album, The Greats and the Happenings in the same year.
All Eyes was mixed by Rich Costey, who has worked with Interpol; Bloc Party; Rage Against The Machine and Muse. Post War Years are currently working with producer James Rutledge (The Kills; My Bloody Valentine; MGMT) on their upcoming second album.
The weird and wonderful video for All Eyes sees a pretty blonde girl in a night dress running from a girl wearing a large elderly woman mask and a scaly puppet, who is chasing the girl in a van. After running the girl over, she is let on to the van and joins the strange duo in the front, where they all appear to get along.
After supporting the likes of The Naked And Famous, as well as Mercury award nominees Everything Everything, Post War Years will be headlining an intimate three night UK tour in December 2011, with the dates as follows:
