Pippa Middleton has revealed that, despite all the attention she receives, there is a downside to being famous for your shapely derrière and because of who your sister and brother-in-law are.

Her new book, Celebrate, offers an insight into the lives of one of the most famous women in the world’s sister, in which she mulls over the highs of her instant stardom following her role in the Royal Wedding, as well as the lows of being almost universally recognised for little more than your backside and your famous family links.

A party planner by trade, Pippa has revealed that she still hasn’t quite come to terms with her fame and admits; “it is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom,” The Metro reports.

In the snippets of the book available to the press, Kate Middleton’s sister reiterates the fact that she is still just “a typical girl in her 20s” and that she is still aiming to succeed by her own accord. Still, she isn’t afraid acknowledge the position she is in and that her close Royal ties will no doubt have an impact on her, and the book’s success.

The book itself, Celebrate: A Year Of British Festivities For Families And Friends, is Pippa applying her trade and serves as a party-planning guide, although she has already admitted that many will pick the book up merely through curiosity. Still, Pippa maintains a tone of modesty throughout her writing and is clearly still a little in shock of her worldwide fame. The book will be released later this month.
