Brosnan wouldn't mind some Expendables fun of his own
Pierce Brosnan fits the bill for a potential role in The Expendables franchise, assuming the remit is: aging action stars looking for another hefty payday. And it’s hard to argue that it’s not.
Keep dressing like that, Pierce, and the role's yours
The former James Bond star has expressed his desire to get in on the action, and his inclusion would certainly open up a new avenue of comedy revenue; you can just imagine the 007 jokes filtering through as the suave former British spy kicks it with the all-American action heroes.

"I said to Avi Lerner, 'If it works out and you have a good script, Avi, you know where to find me if you still want me.' It's as simple as that really," Brosnan said, talking of his chat with the film’s producer.
"Sylvester Stallone is the one that's given us these wonderful platforms for actors who have and had careers to go play and have fun and to entertain. To bring a bunch of guys together who saved the world, fought the bad guys, and put them all on the same stage, that's crazy good,” he added. (Guardian)
"It's just about entertainment. Avi is somebody I've heard about and his movies always have big brash entertainment value to them. You can really change the world and that's great, but The Expendables? Yeah, I'd love to do The Expendables. It's just a kick in the pants."

Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham and Jet Li have all helped the franchise reach nearly $600m from the global box office, with a third entry set to hit cinemas this August. Mel Gibson stars as the main villain in the film while Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford and Antonio Banderas all join the cast. Could we see an Expendables 4 with someone holding a genuine license to kill?
