The 70-year-old composer and arranger, who has worked with stars including Peter Gabriel, Tears for Fears and The Pretenders, appeared at Bristol Crown Court in England accused of making at least $160,000 (£100,000) from the sex trade in 20 months from January, 2012 and paying wages to four prostitutes.

Lord pleaded guilty to the charges and will be sentenced for running a brothel in October (15).

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Judge Julian Lambert said, "You must not come expecting to be released."

Five further counts of controlling and inciting prostitution will lie on file.
