And its time for more finery from our French counterparts Rinocerose. After their massively successful album release of 1999, Installation Sonore, they return with this significant 12. It follows in the French tradition of lots of filters, bass and beats but nevertheless occupies a different musical domain from fellow froggies Daft Punk and Saint Germain. Restless Soul displays their subtle and tasteful approach to deep house whilst King Unique makes things more funky. Very nice. |
