Miranda doesn't want a boyfriend at the moment.

The 31-year-old model has been romantically linked to a string of men since splitting from husband Orlando Bloom in October 2013, but she insists she's not ready to date anyone right now and wants to focus on herself and being happy in her own company.

Speaking in the March issue of Australia's Harper's Bazaar magazine, Miranda said: ''For the record, I'm single. What I'm trying to do right now, as I've always been the girl with the boyfriend, is to find that comfort within myself.

''Because it's quite easy to always look to other people to lift us up or make us feel better about ourselves.

''At the end of the day, it's really important to be comfortable with your own company and to feel good about that and not have to rely on anyone else.''

However, the former Victoria's Secret model, who has four-year-old son Flynn with Orlando, recently admitted dating a multitude of people at the same time is fine, providing it doesn't turn physical.

When asked for her advice about sex on a first date, Miranda said last month: ''My philosophy is that until you get to know them it's better not to, because energetically as a woman you get attached. So you're better off to go on a few dates and see if you want to get attached or not.

''If you are not sleeping with someone, then I think it's OK to go on a date with this one and that one.''
