Longtime Friends Nicole Kidman And Naomi Watts Locked Lips On Stage At An Awards Show In Los Angeles On Tuesday Night (16jun15) As The Oscar-winner Picked Up A Special Prize.
Kidman was named the recipient of the 2015 Crystal Award for Excellence in Film at the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, and during her acceptance speech, she revealed her regrets over turning down a role in a Jane Campion film in the early days of her career.
The actress admitted she snubbed the role because the part required her to wear a shower cap and kiss a woman. She then pulled a floral cap out of her purse and put it on her head, declaring ,"(I am) ready... to kiss any woman in the room."
Watts, who presented her pal with the prize, also pulled on a shower cap and then grabbed her friend for a passionate smooch.
During the ceremony, held at the Century Plaza Hotel in L.A., honours also went to Selma director Ava DuVernay and House of Cards actress Kate Mara.
